Job Description

Equipment Operator – 1st Shift
Louisville, KY
Pay: $16.50/hour

Schedule Information

  • Monday–Friday
  • 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
  • 30-minute lunch
  • Optional weekend work may be available

Equipment Operator Requirements

  • Previous stand-up reach-truck or stock-picker experience preferred
  • Ability to use a scan gun accurately
  • Experience with picking, putaway, or replenishment preferred
  • Strong attention to inventory and order accuracy
  • Ability to maneuver equipment safely in warehouse aisles
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team
  • Commitment to forklift and warehouse-safety procedures

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up reach trucks and stock pickers safely.
  • Pick products according to order requirements.
  • Complete putaway and replenishment assignments.
  • Use a scan gun to record product and inventory movements.
  • Verify product numbers, locations, and quantities for accuracy.
  • Move and organize products in assigned warehouse locations.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and damaged products.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accessible aisles and work areas.
  • Follow all warehouse operating and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
