Material Handler – Sit-Down Forklift Driver Job Details

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr + shift differential
Location: Hebron, KY

Material Handler – Sit-Down Forklift Driver Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2–3 years of distribution, shipping, and receiving experience required.
Previous warehouse or packaging experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
Approximately 2 years of forklift operating experience preferred.
Experience operating a sit-down forklift and standard warehouse equipment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Ability to safely stack and lift materials up to 50 lbs. continuously.
Ability to push and pull 100+ lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and food manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow warehouse, production, and safety procedures.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

About the Material Handler – Sit-Down Forklift Driver Role

As a Material Handler – Sit-Down Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Operate a forklift to move products from production to packaging and from packaging to the warehouse.
Supply empty pallets and materials to packaging lines.
Assist with stacking finished products at the end of the production line.
Load boxes and bags onto pallets as needed.
Assist with dumping products as needed.
Assist as a packer operator when required.
Complete required paperwork and production documentation.
Maintain the integrity of raw materials.
Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
Follow all warehouse, production, and safety procedures.
Support packaging and warehouse operations to help meet customer order goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
