Quality Control Technician Job Details
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr
Location: Hebron, KY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Quality Control Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of quality control or quality assurance experience required.
- Previous quality experience in food manufacturing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to accurately perform product inspections and quality testing.
- Ability to follow GMP and workplace safety procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate quality and production records.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Quality Control Technician Role
As a Quality Control Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate finished products for quality and acceptability according to product specifications.
- Perform required product testing and analysis.
- Communicate quality concerns to production, quality, shipping, and customer service teams.
- Record test results, batch information, and other required documentation.
- Monitor production equipment for functionality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Check metal detectors, magnets, and scales.
- Perform critical control point and GMP audits.
- Assist with foreign material and product non-conformance investigations.
- Perform batch setup checks and document discrepancies.
- Place products on hold or release products when appropriate.
- Identify and reject products that do not meet quality requirements.
- Assist with root cause and corrective action analysis.
- Check allergen cleanout effectiveness as needed.
- Perform pre-operation audits when necessary.
- Complete production scale checks and laboratory equipment calibrations.
- Collect microbiological samples as needed.
- Maintain retained samples and control sample records.
- Follow all GMP and safety procedures.
- Perform additional quality control duties as assigned.
