Job Description
Crown Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time Teacher in St. Louis, MO!
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | $18/Hr
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate age-appropriate learning activities.
- Support daily routines, including group instruction, meals, nap time, and transitions.
- Assist with setup and cleanup of snacks, lunch, and classroom materials.
- Provide positive guidance and encourage appropriate behavior through supportive discipline techniques.
- Assist children with self-help skills such as eating, dressing, toileting, and diapering.
- Complete documentation and observations for developmental assessments and parent-teacher conferences.
Program Support
- Work effectively with children, families, and coworkers.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding staff, children, and family information.
- Participate in required training and professional development.
- Arrive on time and follow attendance and conduct policies.
- Comply with Missouri State Child Care Regulations and all center policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting preferred.
- Must already have a valid CDA (Child Development Associate) certification.
- Must be able to pass a Missouri childcare fingerprint background check.
- Must meet all Missouri childcare employment requirements.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Certification & Requirements
- CDA Certification: Required prior to starting.
- Fingerprinting: Required in O’Fallon, MO. Cost is approximately $25–$35.
- Must successfully pass the required Missouri childcare fingerprint background check.
