Construction Warehouse / Forklift Operator
Location: Maryland Heights, MO 63043
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $17–$19/Hr
Job Summary
Crown Staffing is hiring a Construction Warehouse / Forklift Operator to handle general warehouse duties while supporting construction-related material handling operations. This position requires experience in both warehouse/forklift operations and construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and store incoming construction materials.
  • Safely operate forklifts, including sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts, to move materials and pallets.
  • Load and unload trucks and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Move and stage construction materials throughout the warehouse and job site as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
  • Report equipment, material, or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Must have previous construction experience.
  • Must have demonstrated forklift operating experience.
  • Valid forklift certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely handle construction materials and warehouse equipment.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to consistently work 1st shift.
