Maintenance Assistant – Shelving Assembly & Installation
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $18.00/hour

Schedule Information

  • 1st shift
  • Monday–Friday
  • 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Maintenance Assistant Requirements

  • Previous shelving assembly, installation, construction, or maintenance experience preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to safely use hand and portable power tools
  • Ability to follow assembly instructions and supervisor directions
  • Strong attention to detail and workplace safety
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team
  • Flexibility to support work in either facility building

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with assembling and installing shelving throughout both buildings.
  • Measure, position, and secure shelving components according to instructions.
  • Use approved hand and portable power tools safely.
  • Inspect completed shelving to ensure it is stable and properly installed.
  • Move tools, materials, and shelving components to designated work areas.
  • Coordinate with maintenance employees and other assistants to complete projects.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Support either building based on project and staffing needs.
  • Perform additional maintenance-assistance duties as assigned.
