CT Technologist – Nights
Maysville, KY
Pay: $38.00/hour
Position Type: Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Night Shift
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
CT Technologist Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current Kentucky license or eligibility for Kentucky licensure required
- Minimum of two years of recent CT imaging experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with CT scanners, contrast injectors, PACS, image acquisition software, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining exceptional patient safety standards
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure accurate imaging and a positive patient experience
- Administer contrast media within scope of practice while monitoring patients for adverse reactions
- Evaluate image quality and communicate any concerns to the radiologist when appropriate
- Document procedures accurately within PACS and the electronic health record
- Operate CT scanners and imaging equipment safely while following radiation safety and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely, high-quality diagnostic services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and patient-focused imaging environment
