Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Dispatcher / Administrative Assistant Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous dispatching, scheduling, healthcare, transportation, or administrative experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn scheduling software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
- Professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to remain calm and organized while managing multiple transportation requests.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient information appropriately.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
About the Dispatcher / Administrative Assistant Role
As a Dispatcher / Administrative Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Schedule and coordinate non-emergency patient pick-ups and drop-offs between hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules and assign trips appropriately.
- Communicate with hospitals, nursing facilities, medical offices, ambulance crews, patients, and family members as needed.
- Monitor scheduled transports and adjust schedules when delays, cancellations, or changes occur.
- Maintain accurate patient transportation records, schedules, and trip details.
- Enter and update transportation information in computer systems and scheduling software.
- Answer phones and respond to transportation requests professionally and courteously.
- Communicate schedule changes and important information to drivers and transportation teams.
- Follow established procedures regarding patient information and confidentiality.
- Prioritize multiple transportation requests while maintaining accuracy and excellent customer service.
- Assist with general administrative duties and office support as needed.
