Service Assistant / Maintenance Technician Job Details

Schedule: 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Hebron, KY

Service Assistant / Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Related experience and/or training preferred.
Current valid driver's license required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense and follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to work from ladders and on roofs up to 40 feet in height.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around moving equipment.

About the Service Assistant / Maintenance Technician Role

As a Service Assistant / Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Assist with service tickets and apartment maintenance needs.
Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and window repairs.
Prepare vacant apartments for painting and repairs.
Perform drywall repair, caulking, paint touch-up, and other apartment turn duties.
Assist with janitorial, grounds, building exterior, and equipment maintenance.
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized shop, garage, and work areas.
Assist with snow removal and spreading salt as needed.
Maintain records of vacant unit status and required work.
Communicate with supervisors, residents, subcontractors, and team members professionally.
Follow all company safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
Assist with additional maintenance duties and projects as assigned.
