Packer Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.50/hr
Location: Milford, OH
Packer Requirements/Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production and manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments as needed.
- Ability to follow instructions from production line leaders and supervisors.
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures and manufacturing requirements.
- Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Willingness to comply with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ability to inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Ability to assist with loading, unloading, and palletizing production materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to production requirements.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, climb, crouch, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, color vision, and visual focus.
- Comfortable working around moving machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to work in areas requiring protective eyewear or hearing protection.
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic required.
About the Packer Role
As a Packer, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform general production, packing, and material-handling duties.
- Follow all instructions provided by the assigned production line leader.
- Assist line leaders with verifying production materials against Bills of Materials (BOM) and job cards.
- Ensure the correct materials are available for assigned production tasks.
- Load and unload production lines as needed.
- Pack, organize, and prepare products according to production requirements.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Identify and report damaged, defective, or incorrect materials.
- Assist with palletizing and organizing finished products.
- Support production line operations to maintain efficient workflow.
- Perform repetitive packing and production tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Comply with all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) procedures.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Maintain customer quality standards throughout production.
- Assist line leaders with production activities and assigned tasks.
- Follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Handle materials and products safely throughout the production process.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas.
- Follow 5S workplace organization and housekeeping practices.
- Work cooperatively with production line leaders and team members.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures around moving machinery and equipment.
- Complete additional packing and general labor duties as assigned.
