Production Operator Job Details
Schedule: Full-time (Shift to be discussed during interview)
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Location: West Chester, OH
Production Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Chemical manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience required
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety procedures
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat, chemicals, and varying temperatures
- Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, safety toe shoes, gloves, face shield, and protective clothing
About the Production Operator Role
As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Review process orders and prepare chemical batches according to specifications
- Select and weigh chemicals accurately for production
- Mix products using proper equipment and procedures
- Filter products to meet quality assurance standards
- Fill and package products into the correct containers
- Label and identify finished products for storage and shipment
- Record production data, yields, and material usage accurately
- Perform repackaging of materials as needed
- Operate forklifts and other production equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures
