Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Hydrant Restoration Technician.
Hydrant Restoration Technician Job Details
Schedule: Full-time seasonal position. Weekday schedule with occasional weekend work during peak season. Travel of 2–3 weeks at a time is required for out-of-town projects.
Pay Rate: Approximately $41,000 annually (based on experience)

Hydrant Restoration Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Ability to travel for 2–3 weeks at a time to project locations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 90+ lbs. and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn all phases of hydrant restoration.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Previous construction, painting, sandblasting, or industrial labor experience is preferred.
About the Hydrant Restoration Technician Role
As a Hydrant Restoration Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Sandblast fire hydrants to remove rust, paint, and debris while following safety procedures.
- Apply industrial primer and paint according to company specifications.
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials for daily job sites.
- Document completed work using daily logs and digital applications.
- Assist team members with all phases of hydrant restoration projects.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Travel to project locations and help meet daily production goals.
