Waterjet Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous waterjet operating experience preferred.
- Waterjet programming experience strongly preferred.
- Experience cutting or working with glass is a plus.
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and job specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to make machine and program adjustments as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow workplace safety procedures.
About the Waterjet Operator Role
As a Waterjet Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate waterjet cutting equipment.
- Program waterjet machinery according to job specifications and production requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work instructions.
- Load and properly position materials for cutting.
- Monitor equipment to ensure accurate cuts and product quality.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
- Adjust programs and machine settings as needed.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance.
- Complete required production documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform additional manufacturing duties as assigned.
