Refractory Installer Job Details
Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, rotating days
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Ghent, KY

Refractory Installer Requirements/Qualifications
- Entry-level opportunity.
- Ability to work weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work safely in a hot environment year-round.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must wear metatarsal steel-toe boots.
About the Refractory Installer Role
As a Refractory Installer, your responsibilities will include:
- Lift and handle heat-resistant refractory materials, including bricks.
- Line the inside of pots with refractory material according to established procedures.
- Scrape and remove old refractory material to prepare surfaces for relining.
- Prepare work areas for installation of new refractory material.
- Follow all required safety procedures and NAS safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform additional installation and general labor duties as assigned.
