Quality Supervisor Requirements/Qualifications
- Recent supervisory or leadership experience required within the last 12 months
- Recent manufacturing experience required; automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects, inspections, or work teams simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related computer systems
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
- Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as needed
- Stable work history with demonstrated longevity required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
About the Quality Supervisor Role
As a Quality Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising quality inspection and sorting operations at multiple customer locations
- Coordinating staffing, scheduling, and logistics to meet customer requirements
- Training, coaching, and mentoring quality personnel to ensure performance standards are met
- Communicating directly with customers regarding quality concerns and production requirements
- Monitoring team compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and work instructions
- Reviewing and maintaining inspection records, training documentation, and production reports
- Managing employee performance and providing ongoing feedback and support
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and follow-up
