Job Description
Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for an Extrusion Machine Operator.
Extrusion Machine Operator Job Details
Schedule: 36/48 rotating schedule (must be available to work every other weekend)
Pay Rate: $18.60/hour
Location: Walton, KY
Overtime: Mandatory when required
Extrusion Machine Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude or previous mechanical experience required
- Computer experience required
- Sit-down forklift experience preferred (certification provided)
- Ability to work a rotating 36/48 schedule, including every other weekend
- Ability to lift, move, and stack materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Resume/profile sheet required
- 10-panel drug screen required
- Background check required (no theft, violent, sexual, or drug-related offenses)
About the Extrusion Machine Operator Role
- Operate extrusion production equipment and related machinery
- Prepare machines for die, grade, and color changes
- Assist with machine breakdown, assembly, die setting, and adjustments
- Perform machine start-ups and monitor production to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle, stack, and palletize finished materials
- Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Enter machine and quality data into computer systems
- Collect production samples as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with training team members and perform additional production duties as assigned
