Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM with possible overtime
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay Rate: $27.00-$33.00/hour
Location: Madison, IN
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume required
- Interview required
- Experience troubleshooting CNC mills and lathes preferred
- Experience servicing hydraulic press brakes
- Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet/IP networking preferred
- Knowledge of automation and robotic safety standards
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing Fanuc 6-axis robots
- Experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs, ladder logic, I/O, HMIs, and safety circuits
- Ability to safely work with 480V 3-phase power, VFDs, servos, relays, and safety devices
- Experience reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience maintaining conveyors, gearboxes, servos, and pneumatic systems
- Basic MIG/GMAW welding knowledge
- Metatarsal boots required
- Background check and drug test required
About the Industrial Maintenance Technician Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Repair and maintain CNC machines, lasers, plasmas, and robotic equipment
- Install, relocate, and set up production machinery
- Complete electrical repairs and equipment installations
- Troubleshoot PLCs and perform basic program modifications
- Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, pipe systems, and facility infrastructure
- Perform maintenance welding as needed
- Lubricate and service machinery
- Complete maintenance documentation and log work in the CMMS system
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and documentation
- Support MRO inventory by identifying critical spare parts
- Follow all safety procedures including LOTO requirements
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned
