Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume required.
- Background check required.
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
- Previous cherry picker experience required.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
About the Forklift Operator Role
As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Retrieve products from high-rise warehouse rack locations.
- Deliver materials to packing stations to support production.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform inventory movements and stock replenishment.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report equipment concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory while following warehouse procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
