Forklift Driver Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
- Previous stand-up forklift experience required.
- Previous cherry picker experience required.
- Ability to safely operate various types of material-handling equipment.
- Ability to retrieve products from high-rise rack locations.
- Ability to safely move and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
About the Forklift Driver Role
As a Forklift Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate a forklift to retrieve products from high-rise rack locations.
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, and cherry picker equipment as assigned.
- Deliver materials to packing stations to support production.
- Safely move, load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain organized material flow throughout the warehouse.
- Support production operations by ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Follow proper forklift operating procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
