Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
Location: Florence, KY
Fleet Cleaning Operative Requirements/Qualifications
- Spanish-speaking candidates are welcome.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Ability to operate various fleet vehicles and cleaning equipment.
- Ability to safely use power washers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and professional conduct.
- Ability to identify and report vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
- Ability to follow established health, safety, and environmental procedures.
About the Fleet Cleaning Operative Role
As a Fleet Cleaning Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Clean and detail the interiors and exteriors of company-owned fleet vehicles.
- Clean vans, cars, HGVs, mopeds, sweepers, and other specialized fleet equipment.
- Use power washers to clean vehicle exteriors.
- Vacuum interiors, wipe surfaces, and remove debris.
- Inspect vehicles before and after cleaning for damage, maintenance issues, or other concerns.
- Report identified vehicle issues to management.
- Safely transport vehicles between parking areas and wash bays.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report equipment defects.
- Ensure cleaning machinery is secure and maintained in good condition.
- Complete cleaning records for each vehicle.
- Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning products and equipment.
- Follow established health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
