Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm | $18.50/Hour
- Overtime possible based on business needs
Cook Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a related food preparation role required
About the Cook Role
As a Cook, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking food according to established recipes and production guidelines
- Using various cooking methods to prepare quality meals and menu items
- Preparing ingredients and organizing food preparation areas for daily service
- Following proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Maintaining food safety standards throughout preparation and service
- Measuring, portioning, and preparing ingredients accurately
- Monitoring food quality, freshness, temperature, and presentation
- Safely operating kitchen equipment and cooking tools
- Maintaining clean and sanitary food preparation areas, equipment, and workstations
- Properly storing food and ingredients to maintain freshness and prevent waste
- Following all kitchen safety procedures and using required PPE
- Working with kitchen and food service team members to complete daily meal preparation
- Maintaining an organized workstation throughout the shift
- Performing additional cooking, food preparation, and kitchen duties as assigned
