Job Description
Forklift Operator
Monday – Friday | Shift 6:00 am- 2:30 pm | Pay starting at 17-18/hr
(Based on experience)
Forklift Operator Requirements
- Ability to ensure that our customers’ orders are correct and undamaged.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Forklift certification or willing to be certified
- 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Pre-employment job screenings.
About the Forklift Operator
As a forklift operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Pick orders using an RF scanning gun
- Move product and material using a sit-down forklift or pallet jack
- Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
- Actively participate in periodic workplace safety learning sessions
- Ability to inspect items for damage or defects before loading/unloading staging material.
- Ability to communicate and follow directions effectively with supervisors
- Pre-employment screenings
