Filler
3:30 PM – 1:30 AM | $23.00/hr | Itasca, IL
3:30 PM – 1:30 AM | $23.00/hr | Itasca, IL
The Filler is primarily a production and material-handling role focused on getting product into the correct containers and preparing it for shipment/storage.
Filler Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
- Must have prior experience with production
- Must be okay working in a hot environment
- Must have basic math skills
As a Filler, your responsibilities will include:
- Fills containers with product using filling equipment.
- Weighs and mixes materials according to production requirements.
- Operates a forklift to move materials, drums, totes, and finished products.
- Checks products and quantities to ensure everything is correct.
- Labels containers after they are filled.
- Takes samples to QC for approval.
- Moves approved product to the correct location.
- Completes production paperwork and reports discrepancies.
- Cleans the production area and assists with general maintenance.
- Helps with inventory counts.
