Assembly Associate Job Details
2nd Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | $23.25/Hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory based on business needs
- Orientation: 1st shift orientation required before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule.
Assembly Associate Requirements
- Ability to read and understand work orders, picklists, bin locations, written instructions, diagrams, and prints
About the Assembly Associate Role
As an Assembly Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Pulling materials according to provided picklists, inventory descriptions, locations, and quantities
- Assembling parts and components according to prints and documented work instructions
- Following established assembly sequences and product specifications
- Using hand and pneumatic tools to complete assembly work
- Converting individual parts and components into finished products
- Meeting standardized production and cycle times for assigned products
- Inspecting materials before and after assembly for defects, surface flaws, and imperfections
- Monitoring product quality and identifying rejected or nonconforming parts
- Accurately counting and documenting completed products throughout the workday
- Properly storing materials, tools, and equipment within assigned work cells
- Delivering completed assemblies to designated production or staging areas
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work cells
- Following all workplace safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and applicable regulations
- Working to meet established cycle times and support 100% on-time delivery goals
- Communicating recommendations that may improve productivity, processes, or product quality
- Performing additional assembly and manufacturing duties as assigned
