Days & Hours Will Vary Based On Scheduled Events | $22-$27/Hour BOE
CDL Class C Delivery Driver Requirements
- Valid CDL Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to safely operate a 24–26-foot box truck.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event seasons.
About the CDL Class C Delivery Driver Role
As a CDL Class C Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Load, transport, and unload event rental inventory, including linens, overlays, chairs, tables, lounge furniture, and specialty event décor.
- Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Verify delivery orders and inspect inventory before loading and upon return.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of rental equipment when required.
- Secure all products properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.
- Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers, event planners, venue staff, and internal team members.
- Report vehicle maintenance concerns, damages, or delivery issues promptly.
- Various duties as assigned.
