Maintenance Mechanic Job Details
Monday – Friday |6 am – 2pm |$28-$35/hr
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance required
- Strong working knowledge of rotating equipment, valves, pumps, and ventilation systems
- Industrial electrical power and controls troubleshooting experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and equipment manuals
- Experience with pipe fitting, electrical wiring, and general mechanics
- Experience working with boilers, steam condensate systems, coils, traps, and pumps
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
About the Maintenance Mechanic Role
As a Maintenance Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Installing, maintaining, and servicing manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, equipment manuals, and work orders
- Diagnosing equipment issues, replacing defective parts, and making operational adjustments
- Maintaining boilers, piping systems, steam condensate systems, and air compressor systems
- Supporting HVAC systems including air handlers, blowers, and dust collection equipment
- Performing plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance tasks
- Completing additional maintenance and operational duties as assigned by leadership
