Assembler I Requirements

Entry-level opportunity: 0–1 year of experience
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
Steel-toe boots required; additional task-specific PPE will be provided onsite

About the Assembler I Role

As an Assembler I, your responsibilities will include:

Assembling various subassemblies and finished products within the Tool and Head departments
Reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine proper assembly procedures
Assembling components using hand tools and power tools
Using manual, air-driven, and battery-powered tools
Using feeler gauges, arbor presses, hand trucks, and other production equipment
Verifying dimensional specifications, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts
Performing basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation
Completing functional and operating tests according to product checklists
Reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Installing electrical components, including switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses
Conducting visual inspections to ensure finished components meet quality standards
Identifying and correcting discrepancies or defects during the assembly process
Supporting timely completion and delivery of assembled products
