Heavy Assembler Job Details
Monday | 8am – 4:30pm | $22/Hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory based on production needs
Heavy Assembler Requirements
- Previous experience with heavy or skilled mechanical assembly
- Ability to independently read and work from assembly drawings, blueprints, and specifications
About the Heavy Assembler Role
As a Heavy Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing complex assembly and erection operations on machinery, equipment, and intricate mechanical apparatus
- Assembling parts and sub-assemblies according to drawings and specifications
- Working to close tolerances and strict quality inspection requirements
- Independently interpreting assembly drawings, specifications, and mechanical requirements
- Performing grinding and polishing operations during the assembly process
- Performing soldering and spot welding as required
- Completing intricate wiring associated with equipment assembly
- Performing equipment and component alignments
- Making necessary mechanical adjustments to ensure proper fit and operation
- Performing required secondary machining operations
- Applying mechanical principles to complete skilled assembly work
- Safely moving, positioning, and handling heavy components
- Using cranes and other material handling equipment appropriately during assembly operations
- Performing additional skilled assembly, mechanical, and production duties as assigned
