Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time Break Press Operator in St. Charles , MO!

Monday-Friday | 2:30pm- 11:00pm | $22.61/Hr

Required Skills & Abilities:

Prior experience operating machinery such as tube benders, press brakes, and steel saws is preferred.
Proficient in reading tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
Understanding of both metric and decimal measurements.
Basic computer skills, including experience with IQMS or similar systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery efficiently to consistently produce quality parts with minimal supervision.
Verify job information and print drawings from the IQMS dashboard.
Maintain assigned equipment and work area according to 5S standards, including cleanliness, tool organization, and spare parts management.
Develop and maintain knowledge of products to ensure critical dimensions and quality standards are met.
Set up, adjust, and operate machines to manufacture components according to layout sheets, drawings, and production schedules.
Maintain tooling in optimal condition, performing in-house sharpening when feasible or notifying engineering for maintenance needs.
Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Program new products on CNC equipment using prints and tooling knowledge.
Perform routine maintenance, including die sharpening, shimming, and mounting.
Make recommendations for tooling replacement, repair, or purchase as needed.
Mentor and coach other Machine Operators, assisting with skill development and training.
Provide coverage or support for other Machine Operators and help lead production teams as required.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
