Knowledge of fixtures. 

 Must pass tape measure test. 

 Experience operating robotic welding machines is preferred. (Ideally Miller (hand weld only), Fanuc/Lincoln (robot weld only) or OTC (robot and hand weld) models.)

Continuously produces at an acceptable level of productivity with some supervision.

Completes process monitor for all jobs run. 

Has the ability to identify quality versus poor welding. 

Keeps all fixtures in top condition. Notates any issues with fixtures with input to correct, repairs and resolves them. 

Completes in-house training and capable of operating all robotic welders. 

Properly loads correct components into position in the fixture without excessive force.

Properly unloads finished assemblies, inspects welds, identifies/marks, and repairs unacceptable quality problem areas. 

Changes torch tips, cleans nozzles and other duties as directed for proper operation. 

Continuously produces at a high level of productivity with some supervision. 

Capable of changing fixtures with assistance of supervisor. 

Stays within approved levels of robot manipulation (i.e., use Teach, Teach Enable, Block Forward, Block Back, and Wire Feed buttons). Always consults supervisor when problems cannot be resolved in above mentioned parameters. 

Changes wire and monitors gases. 

Communicates inventory of consumable parts. 

Cleans/Changes drive wheels when necessary. 

 Produces quality parts with very limited number of rejects and rework. 

Demonstrates solid product knowledge of all parts commonly run in the department and their components. 

Reads and understands weld prints and symbols. Completes own work to print requirements. 

Capable of selecting a program that exits on the robot.

Capable of changing and setting up fixtures with no assistance. 

Operates at top productivity level with safe operations. 

Properly sets up area for maximum efficiency.

Loads and operates robotic welders to product quality parts. 

Produces high quality parts with minimal rejects. 

Continuously produces at a high level of productivity with very little supervision. 

Has excellent product knowledge of all parts in the department and their components. 

Serves as support for other Robotic Operators. 

Utilizes IQMS to correctly identify parts, determines part locations, checks inventory, closes out orders and other daily functions. Supervisor Signature | Associate Signature and Date 

Professionally communicates production issues, seeks clarification and resolution from front line employees and management. 

Performs other duties as assigned.
