Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a MIG Welder.
MIG Welder Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Location: Walton, KY
MIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous MIG welding experience required.
- Experience welding heavy and light steel pipe preferred.
- Ability to weld galvanized and powder-coated steel.
- General math skills required.
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
- Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical duties including lifting and digging as needed.
- Ability to follow established workplace safety procedures.
- Jeans, T-shirt, and work boots required.
About the MIG Welder Role
As a MIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- MIG weld heavy and light steel pipe.
- Work with galvanized and powder-coated steel materials.
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
- Use power tools and welding equipment safely.
- Inspect welding work for quality and accuracy.
- Assist with fence installation as needed.
- Assist with general lot duties.
- Dig holes and perform other physical tasks as needed.
- Assist customers when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow established safety and welding procedures.
- Perform additional welding and production duties as assigned.
