Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Production Associate.
Production Associate Job Details
Schedule: Full-time
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Piqua, OH

Production Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanically inclined with a production-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent work habits.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong safety and quality awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to learn and operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
- Overhead crane experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled steel manufacturing facility.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes required.
- Safety glasses, sleeves, and gloves provided by the client.
About the Production Associate Role
As a Production Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Receive, stack, store, ship, and transfer materials and supplies.
- Band material coming off production machines.
- Identify and organize materials accurately.
- Inspect products for quality and conformance.
- Use the internal ERP system to receive and track material usage.
- Operate entry-level production equipment according to standard procedures.
- Process, package, and ship customer orders accurately.
- Inspect products for defects and damage.
- Examine outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Receive, unload, and properly place incoming inventory.
- Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform production-area cleanup and housekeeping duties.
- Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve or optimize plant procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
