TIG Welder Job Details

Schedule: 1st Shift & Training: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM | 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr

Location: Franklin, OH

TIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications

Must have own welding equipment.
Previous TIG welding experience required.
Experience performing precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel preferred.
Ability to weld sheet material ranging from approximately 0.035" to 0.250" thickness.
Ability to set up welding equipment and select appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
Strong blueprint-reading skills and ability to follow work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
Ability to perform cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other weld preparation processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality welds.
Ability to safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment.
Ability to work independently while supporting the needs of the team and department.

About the TIG Welder Role

As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:

Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel aerospace components.
Weld sheet material ranging from approximately 0.035" to 0.250" in thickness.
Set up welding equipment according to job requirements.
Select appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
Prepare parts through cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other fabrication processes.
Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
Produce welds that meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements.
Inspect your own work throughout the welding process and make necessary adjustments.
Maintain weld quality while meeting production expectations.
Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other required equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
