Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Production Associate.

Production Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Troy, OH

Production Associate Requirements/Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistent work habits.
  • Mechanically inclined with a focus on production, safety, and quality.
  • Ability to learn and operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Forklift certification preferred, but not required.
  • Overhead crane experience preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience with precision instruments preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled steel manufacturing environment.
  • Steel-toed or composite-toed shoes required.
  • Ability to follow established safety policies and procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and strong personal accountability required.

About the Production Associate Role
As a Production Associate, your responsibilities will include:
  • Receive, stack, store, ship, and transfer materials and supplies.
  • Band materials coming off production machines.
  • Properly identify and track materials.
  • Inspect products for quality conformance, defects, and damage.
  • Use an internal ERP system to receive and track materials.
  • Operate entry-level production equipment according to established procedures.
  • Process, package, and ship customer orders accurately.
  • Examine outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Receive, unload, and properly store incoming inventory.
  • Check, verify, and fill customer orders.
  • Assist with material handling throughout the facility.
  • Perform assigned cleanup activities in production areas.
  • Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Assist with additional production duties as assigned.
