Job Description
Crown Staffing is now hiring a full-time Welder in Fenton, MO!
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Temp-to-Hire
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range $25.00 – $30.00 an hour based on Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and ARC welding on a variety of metal components.
- Fabricate and weld metal-frame boxes and other assemblies according to specifications.
- Perform welding work on components used in marine water and sewage systems for cruise ships.
- Read and follow work instructions, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Prepare materials and surfaces for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting components.
- Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work with production team members to meet quality and production expectations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and ARC welding is required.
- Ability to produce strong, consistent, and quality welds.
- Knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to use grinders, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work history are important.
