Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Screw Machine Maintenance Technician.
Screw Machine Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr + $3.00/hr second-shift differential ($29.00/hr total)

Screw Machine Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
- 2–4 years of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with machine maintenance, automotive mechanics, or screw machine maintenance preferred.
- Knowledge of Acme and Davenport screw machines.
- Must be trained in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment problems.
- Ability to read blueprints and machine drawings to identify required repair parts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and machinery.
- Ability to adapt quickly when repairing familiar and unfamiliar equipment.
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and regularly lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to meet the visual requirements of the position, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
About the Screw Machine Maintenance Technician Role
As a Screw Machine Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct routine machinery inspections and perform preventive maintenance on Acme and Davenport screw machines.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Read blueprints and machine drawings to determine the parts needed for repairs.
- Repair manufacturing equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Replace worn shafts, gears, belts, pulleys, and other equipment components as needed.
- Assist setup personnel and machine operators with part changeover issues.
- Help identify and resolve material defects affecting production.
- Maintain equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Follow current ISO requirements and all safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Assist with training other employees as needed.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
