Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Screw Machine Setup / Operator.
Screw Machine Setup / Operator Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (Overtime possible on Fridays)
Pay Rate: $22.00–$25.00/hr
Location: Hamilton, OH

Screw Machine Setup / Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume and interview required.
- Connector PPW required.
- Must pass Connector background check.
- 10-panel drug screen required.
- Ability to read calipers.
- Ability to read CNC prints and understand dimensions to .000.
- Ability to use hand tools, including air guns, wrenches, and drill press.
- Ability to operate one or more machines as required.
- Ability to complete quality forms, daily inspection forms, and other required paperwork.
- Ability to understand machine controls and safety devices.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
About the Screw Machine Setup / Operator Role
As a Screw Machine Setup / Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform machine setups and/or operate machinery according to department requirements.
- Perform setup inspections before releasing jobs to operators.
- Perform first-piece verification according to department requirements.
- Make setup adjustments and change drills and taps to maintain product specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and production variations.
- Monitor machine operation and ensure proper handling of products.
- Verify operators understand machine operation, safety rules, inspection requirements, and product handling.
- Complete quality forms, inspection charts, shop orders, drawings, and move tags.
- Document scrap and participate in corrective action processes.
- Review setup cards and department scheduling information.
- Train new and temporary employees.
- Demonstrate proper part inspection and documentation procedures.
- May assign operators to jobs as directed.
- Follow ISO, safety, and 5-S requirements.
- Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
