Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Swiss & Lathe Setup / Operator.
Swiss & Lathe Setup / Operator Job Details
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM
Pay Rate: $22.00–$35.00/hr (Based on Experience) + $3.00/hr Shift Differential

Swiss & Lathe Setup / Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of prior Swiss setup or lathe setup experience required, or Swiss/Lathe-based education.
- This is not a trainable position.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memorandums, and correspondence.
- Ability to read and decipher electrical schematics and machine drawings.
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assist with troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
- Ability to bend, push, and lift more than 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
- Ability to follow ISO, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
About the Swiss & Lathe Setup / Operator Role
As a Swiss & Lathe Setup / Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate Swiss screw machines and multi-spindle lathe machines.
- Load bar stock into machines.
- Fill machine fluids and remove chips from equipment.
- Perform tooling changes and machine adjustments to maintain specifications.
- Monitor production and ensure parts meet quality requirements.
- Follow current ISO requirements and all safety procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
- Assist with training other employees on Swiss and lathe machine operation and setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
