Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Louisville, KY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Position Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Requirements
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
- Ability to accurately obtain and document patient vital signs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Basic computer and electronic medical records (EMR) experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
Key Responsibilities
- Check and record patient vital signs, height, and weight
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure the front office is clean and ready for patients
- Schedule patient appointments and manage daily calendars
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Receive, register, and direct patients to the appropriate examination areas
- Maintain accurate patient charts and documentation
- Stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies
- Assist providers with general clinical and administrative duties
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
