Pay: $55.00/hour
Full-Time | Day Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional weekends required
Physical Therapist Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required
- Current Indiana Physical Therapist license required
- Previous inpatient rehabilitation facility experience highly preferred
- Adult IRF experience preferred
- Experience treating patients with brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic diagnoses preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment with short lengths of stay
- Commitment to collaborative discharge planning and patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for adult rehabilitation patients
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence
- Treat a variety of diagnoses including brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputations, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support recovery and discharge planning
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, mobility techniques, home exercise programs, and discharge recommendations
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, therapy standards, and patient safety protocols
- Support a positive, team-oriented rehabilitation environment focused on returning patients home safely
