Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Acute Rehabilitation
Greenwood, IN
Pay: $23.00/hour
Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Night Shift
- 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements
- Current CNA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of CNA or Patient Care Technician experience required
- Previous acute care, medical-surgical, or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
- Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs
- Experience assisting with activities of daily living, patient transfers, and mobility support
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, and other patient information
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers, ambulation, and mobility using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment
- Answer call lights promptly and respond to patient needs with professionalism and compassion
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation and support patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
- Transport patients throughout the facility as needed and assist licensed staff with treatments and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment
