Pay: $35.00 – $39.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to support medically fragile children in a Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care (PPEC) setting in Louisville, KY.
In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to children from birth through age 20 with complex medical needs while collaborating with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and overall health status
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and company policies
- Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and patient needs
- Educate families and caregivers on medications, treatments, and home care procedures
- Assist with skilled nursing procedures including feeding tubes, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and suctioning
- Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
- Participate in care conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing training
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- PALS certification preferred
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Experience with medically fragile children, ventilators, trachs, or g-tubes preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Pediatric, home health, long-term care, or PPEC experience preferred
