Licensed Practical Nurse – Acute Rehabilitation
Greenwood, IN
Pay: $38.00/hour
Travel Assignment | 13 Weeks
Schedule Information
- Night Shift
- 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program required
- Current Indiana LPN/LVN license required
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- IV certification required or obtained within six months preferred
- Minimum of six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with clinical equipment required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment while maintaining professionalism and compassionate patient care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
- Assist with patient assessments, rehabilitation interventions, and ongoing care planning
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Support patient mobility, rehabilitation goals, pain management, and daily nursing care
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, rehabilitation goals, and discharge preparation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
- Follow all patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards while supporting a collaborative rehabilitation team
