Job Description
Material Handler
Park City, KY
Pay: $12.50/hour
Full-Time
Material Handler Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow work instructions, procedures, and control plans
- Basic measurement and inspection skills
- Ability to record production and quality data accurately
- Understanding of FIFO inventory practices preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Stock work areas with the correct materials and components for production
- Mix materials as needed according to established instructions
- Perform first-piece, last-piece, and in-process inspections
- Take basic measurements and record data on production and quality logs
- Record material and resin lot numbers accurately
- Identify and report nonconforming products or process issues to management
- Follow corrective action procedures and quality standards
- Label products and materials as needed
- Manage scrap and recycle materials according to company procedures
- Operate a forklift as needed to move materials throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
