Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a General Shop Laborer.
General Shop Laborer Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Groveport, OH
General Shop Laborer Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous shop, manufacturing, or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a shop and production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical shop duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to safely handle parts and production materials.
- Willingness to learn sanding techniques and general shop procedures.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow established workplace safety procedures.
- Immediate availability required.
About the General Shop Laborer Role
As a General Shop Laborer, your responsibilities will include:
- Catch and handle parts as they move through production.
- Perform dual-action (DA) sanding on production parts.
- Assist with preparing and handling materials throughout the shop.
- Support general shop and production operations.
- Perform repetitive sanding and material-handling tasks.
- Inspect handled parts for visible quality concerns.
- Organize parts and materials within designated work areas.
- Follow established production procedures and work instructions.
- Work efficiently with team members to support daily production needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Follow company safety guidelines and shop procedures.
- Assist with additional shop and production duties as assigned.
