Job Description
Crown Staffing is now hiring a Direct Support Staff in O’Fallon, MO
Part Time; 15-20 hours per week |$16/hr
Part Time; 15-20 hours per week |$16/hr
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- May require 1 Saturday per month
Responsibilities:
- Assist participants with daily activities and personal support needs
- Help participants during mealtimes, including cutting food and assisting with eating when needed
- Engage participants in games, social activities, and recreational programs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly participants
- Monitor participant safety and report any concerns to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful environment
- Encourage social interaction and participation throughout the day
- Follow all health, safety, and program policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous caregiving, healthcare, or direct support experience preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with elderly individuals and team members
Requirements:
- TB test/vaccination required (may be completed after hire)
- CPR certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Food Safety certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
