Crown Staffing is Now Hiring for a 1st Shift Receiving – Warehouse Associate for a facility in West Chicago, IL!

Receiving – Warehouse Associate $18/hr

Job Details

Monday – Friday | 9 am-5:30 pm M-F (With possible overtime)

Unload incoming trucks and containers safely without damaging cargo.
Receive, inspect, and verify freight for correct markings, dimensions, and condition.
Document and report any shortages, overages, damages, or discrepancies (OS&D).
Label and track freight using booking numbers, piece counts, and dock receipt numbers.
Handle hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Coast Guard regulations.
Load outgoing freight according to load plans and special shipping requirements.
Secure, block, and brace cargo properly inside containers for safe transport.
Verify cargo is suitable and properly packaged for export.
Complete required shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with drivers and customers.
Follow company safety procedures, loading checklists, and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional warehouse and freight-handling duties as assigned.
