Job Description
Crown Staffing is hiring Group Leaders for a warehouse and material processing operation in Wilmington, OH.
Group Leader Job Details
Schedule: Full-Time; schedule may vary based on operational needs
Overtime: May be required as needed
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Location: Wilmington, OH
Group Leader Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred
- Prior leadership, coaching, or team lead experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documents
- Ability to read a tape measure and use measuring tools such as calipers
- Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills
- Must maintain attendance standards and demonstrate reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
About the Group Leader Role
As a Group Leader, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating daily work assignments to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Leading by example while promoting a safe and positive work environment
- Coaching team members and providing guidance on job duties and performance expectations
- Training new employees and assisting with onboarding activities
- Monitoring workflow to ensure production and operational goals are met
- Communicating obstacles, delays, or operational concerns to warehouse leadership
- Supporting team members in resolving work-related issues and challenges
- Performing warehouse, material processing, or equipment operation duties as needed
- Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment when qualified
