Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Warehouse Lead.
Warehouse Lead Job Details
Schedule: Full-time; schedule to be discussed during the interview process
Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00/hr
Location: Groveport, OH

Warehouse Lead Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience required.
- Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.
- Must maintain certification on all forklifts used in the warehouse.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics, including addition, subtraction, and division.
- Ability to accurately measure and pull customer orders.
- Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, twist, turn, squat, stoop, stretch, and reach overhead.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including wrapping machines.
- Strong leadership, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to hear forklift horns and backup alarms.
About the Warehouse Lead Role
As a Warehouse Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate forklifts to pull, stack, and organize pallets of merchandise.
- Direct daily priorities established by warehouse management to help meet department production goals.
- Communicate daily goals and quality expectations to employees.
- Report department issues and production progress to management.
- Train new employees on shipping and order-pulling procedures.
- Ensure employees follow safe warehouse and material-handling procedures.
- Accurately pull customer orders using a stand-up forklift and pick sheets.
- Record changes or missing products on pick sheets.
- Build pallets and prepare shipments according to company procedures and customer specifications.
- Communicate missing products or out-of-stock items to the Receiving Clerk or management.
- Complete daily forklift preventative maintenance inspections.
- Report forklift mechanical or safety concerns to management.
- Lead by example through respect, cooperation, teamwork, and professionalism.
