Material Handler
Lexington, KY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Full-Time | 2nd Shift
Schedule Information
- Monday–Friday
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Material Handler Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required
- Previous material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Product knowledge and experience working with metal or industrial materials preferred
- Certification or experience operating a crane, forklift, and side-loader preferred
- Ability to use a tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Ability to follow written instructions and customer specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and organization
Key Responsibilities
- Pull material for customer orders based on required type and size
- Package finished goods according to customer specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct materials have been selected and prepared
- Inspect, band, and stage parts for shipment
- Verify heat numbers, tag numbers, and product identification for accuracy
- Organize material in route-specific order for shipping and delivery
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned
